PM Modi Cites Operation Sindoor, Slams Pakistan on Birthday Address

Date:

On his birthday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a strong message on national security while addressing a rally in Dhar, recalling India’s cross-border strikes against terror camps. Referring to Operation Sindoor, he said India’s armed forces brought Pakistan “to its knees” after terrorists targeted civilians in Jammu and Kashmir.
Modi declared that India “fears no one’s nuclear threats” and has shown the resolve to strike inside enemy territory when provoked. He added that Pakistan-backed groups had “removed the Sindoor of our sisters and daughters,” but Operation Sindoor ensured that terror camps were destroyed in retaliation.
His remarks came a day after a video surfaced of Jaish-e-Mohammad commander Masood Ilyas Kashmiri, who in a rare admission confirmed that Indian forces devastated the family of terror mastermind Masood Azhar during the May 7 Bahawalpur strikes. The operation, jointly conducted by the Army, Navy, and Air Force, targeted nine facilities of Jaish-e-Mohammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Hizbul Mujahideen across Bahawalpur, Kotli, and Muridke.
